Every year, more than 3,600 companies from more than 130 countries and regions participate in the exhibition, of which 51% are from countries are outside of Germany. Antmed has attended Medica in 2003, and we officially participated the exhibition in 2007. We have been there for 13 consecutive years. Judging from the outcome of exhibitions in recent years, some leading companies (whether manufacturers or distributors) that have enjoyed high reputation in their professional fields no longer participate in Medica. These companies prefer to participate in Medica academic conferences than the exhibition itself. Medica now is more about meeting old partners/customers than develop new ones. In short, as the medical device product supply chain becomes more and more transparent and mature, the importance of Medica is decreasing. But it is still an important channel of developing customers and is an effective platform for enhancing mutual understanding between suppliers and distributors.
